This article examines the literary productions of Burkina Faso's defense and security forces through the lens of Lucien GOLDMANN's sociocriticism. Based on the notion of homology, a fundamental concept of this theory, our study aims to highlight the collective social and mental structures underlying the literary productions of this socio-professional category. In other words, there is a correlation between the realities evoked by Burkinabè law enforcement officers in their works and their country's everyday experience. The aim is to show how this epiphenomenon, far from being out of step with the writers' social milieu, is part of a dynamic of critical reflection on Burkina Faso's social, political and cultural challenges.
